Description
For the outside fluting on this bowl, I used a V-gouge instead of the wider sweeping gouges that I usually use. The result was a variation between valleys that give this bowl an organic, almost breath-like feel. The heartwood in this birch bowl took on a nice golden brown, contrasting to the almost blond sapwood on the bottom. I hope you enjoy the nice grains and “feel” of this medium size piece.
