Description
The spalting and some rotting in this Ash, definitely added to its character and uniqueness . I was able to carve out a form that reminds me of a kettle. A very round opening with heavy sides, give this bowl a fullness and heft, that appears to be heavier than many of my other pieces, but is not. The straight and even grain adds to the beauty of the bowl, which is enhanced by the flax seed oil finish I applied.
